OPUS

Intellectual property & copyright disclaimer

This page is the authoritative consent body that an artist agrees to when registering (publishing) a work on OPUS. The text below is identical to what appears on the artwork submission screen (/vault/submit); the acceptance timestamp, the sha256 of the exact body agreed to, and the locale are recorded together on the consent ledger.

Consent body

[Consent on intellectual property and copyright]

  • The creator personally warrants that the uploaded work does not infringe any third-party intellectual property right, including copyright, trademark, or right of publicity / portrait.
  • If a third party raises an infringement claim or a legal dispute arises in connection with the submitted work, responsibility for the work's copyright and related rights rests with the creator, and OPUS (Eazymation Inc.) is not a direct party to the matter. Please refer to the Artist Terms for further details on rights handling and recourse.

I agree to the foregoing, warrant that no intellectual property right has been infringed, and publish the work.

Related procedures

  • Infringement reports are received through the /legal/report-infringement form. Once a report is acknowledged, OPUS may take down (Blind) the work pending review.
  • For the full warranty regime, OPUS's post-report actions, settlement holds, and recourse rights, see the Artist Terms.

If the scope or wording of this disclaimer changes, the consent version is bumped accordingly, and artists are asked to re-accept the new version at submission time.
