Notice under Japan's Specified Commercial Transactions Act
This page is a mail-order business notice provided pursuant to Article 11 of Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引に関する法律 — the "Act"). The Act is a law of Japan, and the authoritative version of this notice is the Japanese original at /ja/legal/specified-commercial. This English page is a courtesy translation intended to help non-resident visitors understand the notice; in the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese original prevails.
Operator details follow the public registration of E-Gimation Inc. (주식회사 이지메이션).
Scope (important). This notice applies only to the primary "Releases" channel (
/releases), in which the Company acts as the merchant of record and an artist publishes an Edition on OPUS for the first time. It does not apply to the "Provenance" channel (/provenance), where the Company acts only as a matching facilitator and as the recorder of The Chronicle between a previous custodian and a next custodian; the Company is not itself the seller of the Edition. See Sections 7 and 17 of the Terms of Service for details.

Prices
- Each digital work (collectible) is listed with a tax-inclusive price in Japanese yen (JPY) on its item page.
- Consumption tax treatment: inclusive (the displayed price includes any applicable Japanese consumption tax). Cross-border treatment will be updated in line with statutory changes.
- Prices may be changed without advance notice. Revised prices apply to purchases made after the change takes effect.
Additional Fees Borne by the Buyer
- The buyer bears any internet connection fees and telecommunication charges incurred while using the service.
- Payment processing fees: not separately invoiced to the buyer (treated as included in the listed price; the payment-processor fee is borne by the Company).
- The buyer's payment-instrument issuer (e.g. card-issuing bank) may separately apply foreign-exchange, international-transaction, installment or interest charges; those charges are not set by the Company.
Payment Methods
The methods scheduled at the time of publication are listed below. This section will be finalized once the payment processor's merchant onboarding is complete, and the live notice will be updated accordingly at service launch.
- Credit cards (Visa / Mastercard / JCB / American Express / Diners Club)
- Other domestic payment rails offered by the payment processor in Japan (e.g. convenience-store payment, bank transfer, carrier billing) — the available scope will be finalized after onboarding and added here.
The payment-processor name, registration number, and contract form will be appended here once onboarding is confirmed. Inquiries: admin@opus-store.com.
Payment Timing
- Credit card: at order confirmation, the payment processor performs an authorization (hold on the available limit) and captures (settles) the charge upon service delivery. Settlement on the buyer's account follows the card issuer's statement cycle.
- Other methods: as defined by each method's terms (for example, convenience-store payment by the deadline indicated on the issued slip; bank transfer by the deadline communicated after order confirmation).
Delivery of the Digital Content
- The buyer's account "소장품 · 来歴 · Provenance" is credited immediately on payment completion (typically within seconds).
- For transactions held back until a scheduled public release time (such as a Releases drop), the scheduled release time is shown on the item page.
- Delivery may be delayed during incidents or scheduled maintenance; such cases are announced separately on the site.
Returns, Cancellation, and Defective Products
- Given the nature of digital content, returns, rescission, or cancellation initiated by the buyer after delivery is complete (i.e. once the Edition appears in the buyer's account) are not accepted, by way of the return-special-terms exemption permitted for mail-order sales under Japan's Specified Commercial Transactions Act. These terms are disclosed in advance on the order-confirmation screen and on this page.
- Where there is non-conformity attributable to the Company (e.g. inability to deliver, duplicate charge, material defect, mistaken delivery requiring replacement), a full refund will be issued through the payment processor following the prescribed procedure. The time required varies by payment method (for credit cards, typically within 1–2 statement cycles, per the payment-processor and issuer cycle).
- Orders by minors and other statutorily-required cases are handled separately.
- Process: please contact admin@opus-store.com (a dedicated form URL will be published on this page once available).
System Requirements
- Supported browsers: Google Chrome / Apple Safari / Microsoft Edge / Mozilla Firefox — latest major version (verified back to two majors prior).
- Mobile: iOS 16 or later, Android 10 or later recommended. High-fidelity artwork viewers are restricted to authenticated mobile-web sessions (desktop receives a downsampled preview).
